#1 Performance

The WORDshop is an informal circle of learning on all things poetry and spoken word that is held monthly basis. Each month, a specific topic will have one or more dedicated session(s) covering areas such as Performance, Sudanese  Poetry and Creative Writing  all the way to and Freestyling and Beat-boxing.

The “Performance”  session was the first in a continuing line of Wordshops where different methods of delivery were illustrated and analyzed. And the attendee’s enthusiasm was the key to its success. And  the most fun part of the day was the exercises.

Some points regarding the past and future WORDshops…

  1. For the sake of effectiveness, we keep our sessions small, so we’re capping at 20 people. First come first serve – so make sure to be the first to sign up!
  2. Don’t be late so you don’t want to miss out on anything!
  3. Materials that are generally needed…

– notepads or other note-taking devices
– pieces wrote/performed/would like to perform
– Creativity and lots of enthusiasm! 😀

Nas. Notepads. No questions asked.
