Cry, you imbecile, Why won’t you cry
Cry one drop, cry a single tear
Cry in anger and cry in fear
Cry your life past and cry the end near
Cry the hunger, cry in thirst
Cry in silence, cry an outburst
Cry in shame, cry in agony
Cry the sloth, cry the gluttony
Cry to repent, And cry to be forgiven
Cry the apocalypse, cry of armageddon
Cry the healthy, Cry for the bedridden
Cry the beloved country
And cry your long lost brethren
Cry, you imbecile, Why won’t you cry
Cry for relationships torn
Cry for love unknown
Cry the son unborn
Cry for unplanted seed
Cry for your lust cry for your greed
Cry the heart you bleed
And cry the mouths to feed
Cry the forcibly fasted
Cry the widows, and cry the bastards
Cry the orphans, cry the adultery
Cry in song, and cry in poetry
Cry in duaa, and cry in zikir
Cry the righteous and cry the sinners
Cry the loving, and cry the heartless
Cry the soldiers and cry the martyrs
Cry the masters, cry the slaves
Cry the life, and cry the grave
Cry the shihada, cry your endeavors
Cry in fright, cry to shivers
Cry for your own damned selves
And then… Cry Me A River…
