Community Poem – Book of 2012, Chapter 4

One we be all

Before all is said and done

I strive for that pure heart

That knows no hatred nor darkness, just inner peace

And DAMN she fine!

I see your face when I’m dreaming

That’s why I always wake up screaming

Then I actually see your face, and wish I was dreaming again

And see who I really am

I love you

No kids! OK!!

Only kids have that, what makes the impossible simple

Simplicity evolves the impossible to possible

Possible perhaps, infinite perception carried by zephyrs

Karma surely does hit twice so be careful

Because if you’re not, you might be reincarnated as a seagull

That as a bird the say soar in the sky the say **

بفتّش فيك بين كل العيون

And then we all cried and went away again

Only to come back and join the circus

Soaring above the peanuts and candy floss

Lost in the cotton clouds sparkling pink like lip-gloss

On her pretty lips, she damn showed me who’s the boss

Of the chaotic world, so messed up, so effed up

No love, just black thoughts and wrecked sons, smacked hopes and…

If fog is up, then how is it foggy when the fog is down

My lines finna rot now, so I better just stop now

Their vines will not grow, their crowding mark stop times flow

And their wines they’ll not show

To tell the story they must already know

With this new sight I was given

I could see the world is not a box and therefore I don’t want to fit in

Why do we assume that things or humans fit in boxes

Because we’re afraid of what is outside them

But bold enough to nibble on what’s inside them

Inside or outside it’s all related

To the side of the door… At which you’re situated.
